First of all, we are overwhelmed by the response the foundation received so far. The t-shirts have been selling like crazy and we have had tons of people contacting us, willing to help. Thanks for everything you’ve done so far. We’re are just days away from getting the PayPal donation process underway, so be on the lookout for that!
In late October, Vickie was honored by the the Concord-Cabarrus Business and Professional Women’s Club. She was named “Woman of the Year,” and was the first ever to be honored posthumously. There was also a great article, written by Ben McNeely, that appeared in Concord’s Independent Tribune.
